SEMINARS
Each
week the group leaders and archaeologists will give a seminar on history
and practical methods in archaeology.
Seminars are optional, but participants are encouraged to attend because they provide valuable informacion and context to the program and archaeology in general.
2012 SEMINARS:
* The History of Spain: Roughly 1,000 BC to 1492. This seminar will provide background of how and why Rome conquered Spain and also on the story behind the sites we will visit on excursions.
* The History of the Clunia Excavation: 1788 to the present.
* Recording Techniques in Archaeology
* Commercial Archaeology: How to get in and how to survive.
