Pau Marimón, Antoni Puig
Sres. Marimon and Puig are researchers affiliated with the University of Barcelona and they both belong to the Center for the Study of the Provincial Interdependency in the Classical World (CEIPAC). It is through this center that they publish most of their research.
Pau Marimon has participated in a large number of excavations in Spain and Italy, covering mainly periods from proto-historic to Roman. His research work focuses on the impact of the Roman presence in the Balearic Islands and their influence over the indigenous peoples of the islands, mainly from the point of view of the economy. Besides his work for the University of Barcelona, Sr. Marimon conducts research for the Spanish Royal Academy of History.
Antoni Puig has directed several digs, both in the Balearic Islands and in Catalonia. He is currently part of the technical team at the Roman excavation of Pollentia in Majorca and has participated in dozens of other excavations, including the Spanish Royal Academy of History sponsored excavation at Monte Testaccio in Rome.

Unai Aurrekoetxea
Unai has been leading Archaeospain groups at Tiermes since 2004. His experience in both excavation and creating museum exhibitions at Tiermes, though, dates back to 2000. He has also worked on other Roman excavations around Spain. Unai currently lives and works in Edinburgh.
Unai has an MA in Archaeology from the University of Deusto, Spain.
