Join the former ArchaeoSpain director to explore some of the most amazing yet rarely seen ancient sites in Spain.
Your bilingual expedition leader excavated the Roman sites listed below and has been exploring the area for 25 years. Forget the usual visit filled with a blur of names and dates -- we focus on the archaeological clues in front of us that paint a picture of the past. That is, how we know what we know.
We arrange day trips from Madrid or longer expeditions with excellent food and drink. And we can tweak the below expeditions to your liking or create something new for your group.

- We then explore a city the ancient Romans carved into the bedrock, including its buildings, baths, forum, and aqueduct.
- Lunch at a restaurant famous for dishes from local flora and fauna.
- Journey time: Leave Madrid at 0800h and return at 1800h.
- Explorers should be able to navigate uneven terrain. Strollers not advised.
